More than 2,000 billion VND to support people in flood-affected areas

Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Head of the Social Work Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , said that as of 5:00 p.m. yesterday (November 25), the total amount registered through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee was 2,088.5 billion VND.

Of which, more than 1.05 million people and nearly 61,000 businesses supported through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee. The amount of money that units directly transferred to localities was 1,118.5 billion VND. The amount of money that organizations and individuals transferred or gave in cash directly to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee was over 970 billion VND.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front pledged that the donations from ministries, branches and people nationwide will be transferred as soon as possible to people in provinces affected by storms and floods.
