Construction of railway rail production project to start in December 2025

QNgTV- The Hoa Phat Dung Quat railway rail and special steel production project with an investment capital of 10,000 billion VND is one of three projects chosen by Quang Ngai province to start construction on December 19, to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress.

Hoa Phat Dung Quat Rail and Special Steel Joint Stock Company is actively coordinating with departments and branches to complete procedures to prepare for the groundbreaking of the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Railway Rail and Special Steel Production Project in December 2025. The project is implemented in the eastern Dung Quat Industrial Park, with a scale of more than 14.79 hectares, a design capacity of 700 thousand tons/year, and a total investment of 10 thousand billion VND. The project will start construction in December 2025 and be completed and put into production in the first quarter of 2027.

Currently, the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks, specialized agencies and the People's Committee of Van Tuong commune are actively removing obstacles, speeding up compensation and site clearance to hand over the entire area of ​​clean land, ensuring smooth project construction.

The Hoa Phat Dung Quat railway and special steel production project is one of the projects chosen by the province to start construction on the occasion of the 14th National Congress of the Party. As expected, the project has an annual revenue of about 11 trillion VND, contributing about 150 billion VND/year to the state budget, and at the same time creating direct jobs for about 400 workers and many indirect workers from service industries. Thereby, contributing to promoting the economic and social development of the province.
