More than 350 athletes to participate in the 2024 national boxing championship

On the evening of September 13, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City coordinated with the Vietnam Boxing Federation to organize the opening ceremony of the 2024 National Boxing Championship. The tournament had the participation of 351 athletes from 38 provinces, cities and sectors across the country. The organization time is until September 20.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City, presented souvenir flags to the delegations participating in the 2024 National Boxing Championship.

According to Mr. Truong Cong Quoc Viet, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City, the 2024 National Boxing Championship aims to review and re-examine the training level and competition ability of the athletes. This year, the units have paid attention to investment and continuous progress.

The 2024 National Boxing Championship will run until September 20.

The results of the tournament will be the basis for discovering and selecting outstanding athletes for the national team. In order to nurture and train athletes to participate in international tournaments. This year's tournament brings together 351 athletes from 38 delegations nationwide to compete.
