On the morning of June 5, candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City gathered at the councils to listen to the dissemination of exam regulations and correct registration information errors (if any). At the Trung Vuong High School Examination Council (District 1), students were present from 8am to check their registration numbers.

Ngoc Khanh (Le Van Huu Secondary School) and her friends took the opportunity to review their lessons and have breakfast before completing the exam procedures. Khanh has focused her energy on studying since March. Because it is the first year of taking the exam under the new program, she is quite worried. Every day, she spends 3-4 hours solving questions at home, and is now ready to take the exam.

Candidates are not allowed to bring into the examination room: Carbon paper, erasers, alcoholic beverages; weapons and explosives, flammable substances; documents, communication equipment (receiving, broadcasting information, recording audio, video) or containing information to cheat during the examination; periodic table of chemical elements and solubility tables.

The HCM City Trung Vuong test site has arranged a storage room for candidates. However, to avoid wasting time, teachers instruct candidates to only bring items that are allowed into the test room on the next test day.

At 9:30 a.m., candidates were present in the examination room to check information and listen to instructions on the 10th grade exam regulations. The 2025 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City has 76,435 students taking the exam. The total enrollment target of public high schools is 70,070 students.

Candidates must bring identification documents such as: Registration form (with photo); student card, citizen identification card, birth certificate (to look up information about priority and incentive policies, if any)... present citizen identification card and registration form. In case you have not been issued a citizen identification card, present a student card.
