DTO - On September 23, at the Gymnasium - Provincial High School for Gifted Students, Sports Training and Competition, the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the opening ceremony of the 2023 Workers, Civil Servants and Laborers Sports Festival. Accordingly, the Sports Festival takes place over 2 days (September 23 - 24, 2023) with 820 athletes from the Labor Federations of districts and cities; Industry Trade Unions; Trade Unions of Industrial Parks - Economic Zones of the province; Grassroots Trade Union Clusters of Central units in the province participating. Athletes compete in 4 sports including: 5-a-side Men's Football, Women's Volleyball, Badminton and Tug of War.

It is known that the Provincial Sports Festival for Workers, Civil Servants and Laborers is one of the traditional sports activities jointly organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism . Through the Sports Festival, many excellent athletes have been selected for units to participate in provincial, regional and national sports competitions with high achievements. At the same time, the 2023 Sports Festival is also a practical activity to welcome the 11th Congress of Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union and the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028.

The Organizing Committee will award many prizes to athletes with high achievements after the end of the Sports Festival.
