Honda will unveil a number of new electric vehicles at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. The event will not only see the appearance of Honda 0 Series concept models, but also open up the possibility of a revival of the CR-V in the Japanese market. The highlight is a completely new low-cost electric SUV, introduced as a concept, in the Honda 0 Series product line. This is the company's strategic electric vehicle line, currently available in two versions including a sedan with a futuristic aerodynamic design and a large SUV.
This third Honda electric vehicle is expected to help expand the accessibility of the 0 Series to the mainstream customer. Although the specifications have not been announced, the new SUV will likely share a dedicated electric platform. It is expected that the car will be integrated with the new operating system Asimo OS, and possess level 3 self-driving capabilities similar to other members of the product line. This is also one of seven EV models in the 0 Series that Honda plans to launch on the market from now until 2030. Along with that, Honda will introduce a small urban EV prototype, developed from the Super EV Concept model that debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the GIIAS Indonesia 2025 exhibition.
This Honda electric micro hatchback is based on the N-One e:, which is currently on sale in Japan, and is aimed at developing a “fun-to-drive” electric car for markets like Japan, Europe and Asia – possibly including Malaysia. In addition to electric car models, Honda also brought to the exhibition an electric motorcycle, an electric-assisted bicycle (e-MTB) and especially a sustainable rocket prototype, demonstrating the development direction of outer space technology that the company is pursuing. The new Honda Prelude, which made a splash when it was recently launched, will also be present at the show along with the N-One e:. In addition, the Honda CR-V e:HEV will officially return to the Japanese market after a two-year absence. This re-emergence may coincide with the launch of the facelift version of this SUV, but the company has not yet confirmed the specific information.
With a diverse range of products from electric cars, electric-powered two-wheelers to space technology..., Honda shows its ambition to reshape the future of mobility and expand its influence beyond its traditional scope. Video : Introducing the all-new Honda 0 Series electric SUV.
