The 2025-2026 school year will see a strong trend of bringing AI into teaching in general schools. However, experts warn that it is necessary to clearly distinguish between "learning AI" and "getting acquainted with AI" to avoid forcing children to learn too early.
At the primary level, AI should only play the role of a supporting tool, helping students develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Integrating AI into Computer Science or STEM lessons will help children understand basic concepts and use smart devices properly.
Google requires users to be 13 years old or older to use AI applications, and children need parental supervision. Hour of Code Vietnam also proposes an age-appropriate AI approach to ensure it is appropriate for cognitive abilities. In some countries like China or the UAE, AI has become a compulsory subject, but comes with a formal teacher training program.
Experts emphasize that AI needs to be introduced into schools cautiously so that technology truly serves learning and does not replace teachers. Dear readers, please watch more videos : Australia tightens internet laws, bans children from watching YouTube | Nhan Dan Newspaper
