Cause and symptom: The thick layer of paint on the gear shift creates a cushion, preventing the surface from making direct and firm contact. At that time, the tightening force will not be evenly distributed, reducing the tightness. As a result, the bolts and nuts may loosen over time, affecting the travel sensor and pedal, making the vehicle unable to shift gears.
Remedy: From April 9 , 2025, through the Customer Care department, HVN will invite Customers who have purchased recalled products to Honda DreamWing Large-Displacement Motorcycle Stores via phone and/or email or other forms of contact to have parts checked and replaced.
Repair time: Total estimated time is 18 minutes/1 vehicle.
Cost: All affected vehicles will be inspected and parts replaced free of charge by HVN.
