HoSE adds a series of securities not eligible for margin trading

Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) has just announced a list of additional securities that are not eligible for margin trading, including stocks ADG, DRH, DXS, HAS, SBV, TDC, and TTE.

Accordingly, shares DRH of DRH Holdings, DXS of Dat Xanh Real Estate Services Joint Stock Company, HAS of Hacisco, SBV of Siam Brothers Vietnam, TDC of Binh Duong Trading and Development Joint Stock Company, TTE of Truong Thinh Energy Investment all had their margins cut because the after-tax profit of the parent company's shareholders on the audited consolidated financial statements for the first half of 2023 was negative.

In particular, ADG shares of Clever Group JSC are not eligible for margin trading because the audited semi-annual consolidated financial statements for 2023 have an opinion that is not a fully acceptable opinion of the auditing organization. Specifically, in the semi-annual consolidated financial statements for 2023, the auditor gave an exception conclusion.

Accordingly, the auditor concluded that, except for the notes to the interim consolidated financial statements, the company recorded the purchase transaction of villa B8-12 of the garden villa and sports and entertainment project in Xuan Tien commune, Thach That district, Hanoi by Mr. Nguyen Khanh Trinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors during the accounting period with a value of VND 29.2 billion.

With the available documents, the auditor does not have enough basis to comment on the fair value of the above villa purchase transaction. Clever Group explained that the villa purchase transaction was conducted at the end of June 2023. Therefore, the company has not been able to arrange for an auditor to participate in the asset valuation.

Therefore, the auditor gives the above exception opinion. The company is in the process of supplementing necessary documents related to assets to supplement the auditor soon .
