Recently, HTC has quietly introduced a new popular smartphone model called Wildfire E4 Plus in the Thai market. This is the next product in the Taiwanese brand's effort to maintain its presence in the low-cost segment, targeting users with limited budgets but still wanting to have attractive equipment.

In terms of specifications, the HTC Wildfire E4 Plus is equipped with a large 6.74-inch screen with HD+ resolution. The notable highlight is that this screen supports a 90Hz refresh rate and has a 20:9 aspect ratio, providing a smoother scrolling experience than traditional 60Hz screens.

Powering the device is the Unisoc T606 processor, a familiar chip in the low-cost segment, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Users can also expand storage space via a microSD card slot.

The camera system is one of the highlights of the product. The device has a main camera on the back with a resolution of up to 50MP, combined with a 0.3MP secondary sensor to measure depth of field.

On the front, the 8MP selfie camera is placed in a waterdrop notch. According to the website, the HTC Wildfire E4 Plus will be pre-installed with Android 14 operating system and come with a large 5,000mAh battery, supporting 10W charging via USB Type-C port.

Other features include a fingerprint sensor, face unlock, dual SIM support, LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and most notably, it still retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. The device weighs 200 grams and has overall dimensions of 168.5 x 77.9 x 9.4 mm.

In the Thai market, HTC Wildfire E4 Plus was announced at a price of 3,599 THB (equivalent to about 2.9 million VND). The device will have two color options: Black and Light Blue.

In addition to the E4 Plus model, HTC is also distributing the Wildfire E5 and E5 Plus models in this country. The launch of the Wildfire E4 Plus shows that HTC has not given up on the smartphone business, although it is focusing on niche markets with low-cost products under the familiar “Wildfire” brand.
