Hue started construction of two inter-level boarding schools worth more than 510 billion VND in the A Luoi border area.

TPO - The People's Committee of Hue City has just held a ceremony to launch two inter-level boarding school projects in A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4 communes, with a total estimated investment of more than 510 billion VND, practically celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and welcoming the new school year 2025 - 2026.

On August 30, before the new school year 2025 - 2026, in A Luoi 3 commune - a highland border area, the People's Committee of Hue City held a ceremony to launch the project to build a new inter-level boarding school in Can Sam area, on an area of 4,866 hectares, meeting the learning needs of about 1,527 students, including 160 boarding students.

The project includes classrooms, department rooms, library, multi-purpose hall, dormitory, dining hall, kitchen, teachers' housing, sports field and other auxiliary items. At the same time, the project also upgrades and renovates Hong Thai Primary School and Hong Thuong Primary School, serving more than 500 boarding primary school students. The total investment is about 232 billion VND.

On the same day, in the mountainous commune of A Luoi 4, the project of an inter-level boarding school was also implemented on an area of nearly 4.99 hectares, serving 1,842 students, including 200 boarding students.

The project includes classrooms; administrative and management blocks, dining hall, kitchen; student and teacher dormitories; library, department rooms, sports fields and a synchronous technical infrastructure system. The project also upgrades and renovates two existing schools in A Roang 2 and Ka Roong - A Ho villages. The total investment is over 278.5 billion VND.

Both projects of the Inter-level Boarding School in A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4 communes are expected to be completed before August 30, 2026.

According to Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, the two inter-level boarding school projects will meet the learning and safe living needs of children of ethnic minorities in border areas.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, said that the simultaneous implementation of two inter-level boarding school projects in A Luoi will meet the needs of safe study and living for children of ethnic minorities in the border area.

At the same time, it is a strategic project in improving people's knowledge, training ethnic minority cadres and developing socio- economy associated with strengthening local defense and security.
