Photo Hanoi 25 is an activity organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the French Institute in Vietnam, accompanied by UNESCO. The event is organized according to the biennale model imported from the West, taking place every two years.
Ms. Bach Lien Huong - Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports affirmed that Photo Hanoi (organized for the first time in 2021, now the third season) is implemented on the basis of the city's important policies, aiming to take culture and creativity as the foundation for sustainable urban development.
“This Biennale is not a single event, but part of Hanoi's vision to nurture creative talent and turn the capital into a regional cultural and creative hub,” said the Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports.

The inclusion of Photo Hanoi in the framework of the Month of Creativity and Design (under a joint initiative between the Hanoi People's Committee and UNESCO) marks an important milestone.
“The event clearly demonstrates the common aspiration of all parties to turn this biennale into a driving force for the development of cultural and creative industries, thereby contributing to raising the status of the capital Hanoi. France is honored to accompany this inspiring initiative with its experience, expertise and long-term commitment,” said Mr. Olivier Brochet - Ambassador of the Republic of France to Vietnam./.
