Through review, in 2025, the entire Krong Ana district has 272 households with temporary houses, dilapidated houses that need to be rebuilt and repaired (179 houses need to be rebuilt and 93 houses need to be repaired).
Up to now, the district has started to build 115 new houses (support cost from 80 - 107 million VND/house) for families (completed and handed over 45 houses); started to repair 91 houses (support cost from 30 - 47 million VND/house) and completed and handed over houses to 28 households.
The expected completion time for removing temporary and dilapidated houses in the district is before August 31, 2025.
In addition to the achieved results, the district also encountered some difficulties in the process of implementing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses such as: high prices of construction materials affecting construction progress; in some localities, construction units were slow and prolonged, affecting people's lives...
At the meeting, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Y Giang Gry Nie Knong province acknowledged and highly appreciated the determination of the entire political system in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Krong Ana district. At the same time, he requested that in the coming time, agencies, departments, and organizations from the district to the grassroots level actively coordinate and implement the program in accordance with their assigned functions and tasks, contributing to speeding up the progress of housing construction for poor and near-poor households to soon complete the program according to the set plan.
