According to information from the City's Department of Economy , Infrastructure and Urban Development, the total green space area in the entire city is approximately 199.82 hectares, reaching 11.25 m2/person. Of this, the area of ​​public green space in the inner city is approximately 155.86 m2, reaching 8.8 m2/person. The city has over 11,000 street trees and 3,750 ornamental trees; the area of ​​green parks is over 85,000 m2; and the area of ​​flowerbeds and lawns is 75,000 m2. The green space area increases annually, averaging 3,000-4,000 m2.

Over the past period, the management and care of green spaces in the area have been regularly supervised and inspected by the local government. As a result, the urban green space system has been ensured to develop well and is regularly pruned. At the same time, the city has also renovated green spaces in parks and public areas; replanted and replaced trees along some roads, contributing to creating a better overall environmental landscape for the city in particular and Ca Mau province in general.
