According to Suara, Pratama Arhan was really scared when Jordi Amat was lying on the field. This player immediately ran to check on his teammate's condition.
Jordi Amat was then taken off the pitch on a stretcher and could not continue playing. Coach Shin Tae Yong sent Rizky Ridho on to replace Jordi Amat.
Jordi Amat's injury means Indonesia lost two captains in the match against Vietnam. Earlier, Asnawi Mangkualam was also forced to leave the field in the 56th minute to make way for Witan Sulaeman after suffering a muscle problem.
Indonesia has yet to announce the status of Jordi Amat and Asnawi Mangkualam. The possibility of these two players playing against Japan remains open.

The 1-0 victory over Vietnam has opened up Indonesia's chances of advancing to Group D of the 2023 Asian Cup. If they win against Japan, the team from the archipelago will take second place in this group.
In case of a draw or defeat, Indonesia will be ranked third and have to wait for the remaining groups. The four best third-placed teams of the six groups will advance along with the top two teams of each group.
The Vietnamese team was eliminated after two matches. This is the first time the "Golden Star Warriors" have stopped so early in the Asian Cup. Previously, in the tournaments in 2007 and 2019, the Vietnamese team both reached the quarterfinals.
The two matches between Vietnam and Iraq and Indonesia and Japan both take place on January 24.
