On the afternoon of August 5, the Provincial Business Association coordinated with provincial departments and branches to organize a conference to connect trade between Thai Binh and Bangladesh enterprises.
Provincial leaders, Provincial Business Association, Ambassador, DCCI Bangladesh are determined to promote trade cooperation in the coming time.
Attending the conference were Mr. Do Quoc Hung, Director of the Asia-Africa Market Department ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ); Mr. Md Lutfor Rahman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bangladesh to Vietnam; leaders of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and more than 40 Bangladeshi enterprises.

On the side of Thai Binh province, there were comrades: Dang Thanh Giang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Lai Van Hoan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of departments, branches and nearly 100 enterprises in the province attending.

At the conference, the Thai Binh Provincial Business Association and DCCI Bangladesh introduced the potentials and investment cooperation opportunities of each side; in which, the orientation to connect businesses to deepen cooperation in a number of fields: agricultural products, food, transportation, handicrafts, information technology, textiles, garments, real estate, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, construction materials, ceramics, glass, trade services and a number of other industries.

Speaking at the conference, the leader of the Asia-Africa Market Department affirmed that each country has its own strengths and the need to cooperate to help each other develop. The success of the first trade connection conference between Bangladeshi enterprises and Vietnamese enterprises in Thai Binh will be the premise for organizing trade connection conferences with other localities of Vietnam in the coming time, contributing to strengthening bilateral trade relations between the two countries.

The Bangladesh Ambassador to Vietnam also believes that the conference in Thai Binh marks an important milestone in the efforts of the two countries to promote trade and business with the common goal of building prosperous development for both countries.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The conference is a good opportunity to introduce and promote the image of Thai Binh land and people to the neighboring country and also an opportunity for businesses in the province to meet and seek investment and business opportunities with Bangladeshi businesses, thereby promoting trade relations and enhancing the exchange of business delegations between Vietnam and Bangladesh in general, and Thai Binh businesses with Bangladeshi businesses in particular.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: Thai Binh always considers Bangladesh as one of the major markets, a gateway for trade with the potential South Asia and Middle East regions, prioritizing the promotion of trade and investment cooperation. Thai Binh is ready to welcome and commits to provide maximum support in all aspects with policies, legal procedures for investment, business, import and export of goods, customs procedures as well as ensuring the investment, production and business environment conditions for investors operating in the province in the most stable, effective and favorable manner.

At the conference, businesses from Thai Binh province and Bangladesh directly shared information, development needs and gave each other opportunities for cooperation in investment, production and business in each country in the coming time.
