At the opening ceremony, delegates and people respectfully offered incense to commemorate the Tran kings at An Sinh Temple, Thai Mieu and the Tran kings' tombs, reviewing the glorious tradition of the Tran dynasty, the dynasty that defeated the Yuan-Mongol invaders three times, creating a prosperous period of Dai Viet.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Tien Dung, Head of the Monuments and Landscapes Management Board, affirmed that the An Sinh Temple Traditional Festival is not only an opportunity for people and tourists to respectfully commemorate the merits of the Tran Kings, but also an important activity contributing to promoting the cultural and historical values of Dong Trieu land, the cradle of Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhism, the birthplace and burial place of many Tran Dynasty kings. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to promote the development of spiritual cultural tourism in Quang Ninh.

This year's An Sinh Temple Traditional Festival takes place over 3 days, from October 11 to 13, to pay tribute to the Tran Kings and their ancestors, to educate the tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking water", and to promote and raise awareness of preserving and promoting the value of the Tran Dynasty National Monument Complex in Dong Trieu.
The ceremony was solemnly held with traditional rituals such as: bathing ceremony, king invitation ceremony, announcement ceremony, festival opening ceremony, Hung Dao Dai Vuong ceremony, thanksgiving ceremony to Tran kings, and rituals to worship male and female mandarins, to serve saints and Tran kings of religious groups.
The festival is organized with many rich cultural and sports activities such as: Neighborhood cultural exchange, men's and women's volleyball, tug of war, chess, folk games... attracting a large number of people to participate, creating a joyful atmosphere and connecting the community.

An Sinh Temple was built in 1381, worshiping 8 emperors of the Tran Dynasty, worshiping the ancestral tablets of Kham Minh Thanh Vu Hien Dao An Sinh Vuong, Thien Dao Quoc Mau Phu Nhan and worshiping the statue of Hung Dao Dai Vuong; it is the most spiritual place of the Tran Dynasty's homeland in Dong Trieu.
Along with the system of temples, shrines, pagodas, hermitages, and Taoist temples on Yen Tu mountain range and its vicinity, An Sinh Temple has contributed to making Dong Trieu-Yen Tu one of the most typical cultural centers of Dai Viet nation during the Tran Dynasty, and today, An Sinh Temple is still an important element and link in the Complex of Monuments and Landscapes on Yen Tu mountain range and its vicinity.
The An Sinh Temple Festival has existed since ancient times, coinciding with the death anniversary and sainthood of the national hero Hung Dao Dai Vuong. This is an occasion for generations of Vietnamese people and international tourists to come and offer incense, pay homage, express their respect and gratitude to the great merits of the Tran Kings and our ancestors who built and defended the country, demonstrate the morality of remembering the source of water, preserving the national cultural identity and uniting the community.
