2025 Asian Esports Championship Opening Ceremony

On November 19, the Esports Championships Asia 2025 (ECA 2025) opened in Can Tho city.

This is an important milestone in the journey to affirm Vietnam's position on the international e -sports map.

The tournament, organized by the Vietnam E-Sports Association, attracted about 100 athletes from 7 countries: Vietnam, China, Korea, Japan, Philippines, Laos and Thailand. The official competitions include: League of Legends, CrossFire and the performance sport is digital sports choreography (Stepin). The total prize this year is worth 9,000 USD.

In addition, the tournament also includes business networking programs, international cooperation signing ceremonies and seminars on Asian e-sports. The event also connects e-sports and digital sports with the promotion of local culture and tourism , contributing to spreading the image of a dynamic and creative Vietnam in the digital age.

This is an opportunity to promote the development of the digital culture and entertainment industry, strengthen international cooperation and cultural diplomacy , and attract investment from regional technology and e-sports corporations.

The tournament runs until November 22.
