Opening of the 23rd session of the 15th Provincial People's Council

On the morning of July 30, the 15th Provincial People's Council opened its 23rd session to consider and decide on issues within its authority.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of districts and cities.

Opening of the 23rd session of the 15th Provincial People's Council — Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivered the opening speech at the Session.

Speaking at the opening of the session, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, said: The 23rd session of the 15th Provincial People's Council was held immediately after the regular mid-year session of the Provincial People's Council in 2024 to consider and decide on a number of urgent and important issues in the period between two regular sessions of the Provincial People's Council, in order to promptly meet the requirements of direction and administration of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of socio -economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the locality in 2024 and the following years.

At this session, the Provincial People's Council will focus on discussing, reviewing and approving 12 draft resolutions related to finance, budget, public investment plans, urban development, approving the urban classification project of Hoa Lu city, approving the policy of arranging administrative units at district and commune levels...

Also at this session, the Provincial People's Council carried out personnel work within its authority as prescribed by law.

To ensure the success of the session, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the delegates of the Provincial People's Council to uphold their sense of responsibility, promote democracy, concentrate their intelligence, actively participate in discussions, and contribute opinions to the contents presented at the session so that the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council are of good quality and quickly implemented; contributing to the completion of the socio-economic development goals of the province in 2024 and the following years, meeting the requirements and aspirations of voters and people in the province.
