Publicize resolutions, conclusions and recommendations for supervision

At the 8th Conference of full-time National Assembly Deputies, giving opinions on the draft Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils (amended), delegates focused on discussing the principles of supervisory activities, supervisory authority of the People's Council Delegation, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing conclusions after supervision.

Many opinions proposed to add the provision that "resolutions, conclusions or recommendations must be made public, except in cases of state secrets as prescribed by law". Because of practical requirements, in order to ensure the supervision activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils as the bodies representing the will, aspirations and mastery of the People, the principle of publicity must be stipulated in the Law. This provision will contribute to improving transparency, accountability and enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of supervision activities.
