On December 5, the National Assembly voted to pass three draft laws related to the judicial sector.

According to the program of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on the morning of December 5, the National Assembly held a plenary session at the Hall to discuss the investment policy of the National Target Program on new rural areas, sustainable poverty reduction, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas by 2035.

In the afternoon session, the National Assembly voted to pass: Law on Judicial Expertise (amended), Law on Civil Judgment Enforcement (amended), Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Judicial Records.

Next, the National Assembly discussed in the Hall the draft Law on Specialized Courts at the International Financial Center; the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Citizen Reception, the Law on Complaints, and the Law on Denunciation.

Previously, in the session on December 4, the 35th working day of the National Assembly, under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the National Assembly held a plenary session at the Hall, discussing the Reports on the 2021-2026 term of the President and the Government; the Draft Report on the 15th term of the National Assembly; the Reports on the 15th term of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees, the State Audit; the Reports on the 2021-2026 term of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuracy .

At the discussion session, 14 delegates spoke; the majority of National Assembly delegates agreed with many contents in the reports and draft Resolution on the work for the 2021-2026 term; at the same time, they analyzed and evaluated to deepen the democratic spirit of the National Assembly, the outstanding results in the past term of the President, the Government, the National Assembly, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, and the State Audit.

In addition, delegates focused on giving opinions on the following contents: Stabilizing the macro economy and maintaining high growth; perfecting institutions and law enforcement; developing infrastructure, innovation and digital transformation; quality of public administration; issues of culture and lifestyle in schools and society; cultural policy; building a cultural foundation; foreign affairs activities of the President; innovation in the organization and operation methods of the National Assembly in the digital transformation period; causes of success and limitations; assessing more deeply and clearly the difficulties in performing the tasks of National Assembly deputies; difficulties of enterprises; related issues in the fields of education, health care, new rural construction, ensuring social security, responding to natural disasters, storms and floods; administrative procedures, implementation resources, specific mechanisms and policies, digital transformation, technical infrastructure and interconnection when implementing two-level local government.

Some delegates suggested to soon organize a preliminary review, summary, and assessment of the implementation of laws and resolutions, and orient legislative tasks, supervision, dissemination, and propaganda of laws in the coming term...

In the afternoon of the same day, under the direction of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh, the National Assembly listened to Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, authorized by the Prime Minister, present the Draft Resolution of the National Assembly on mechanisms and policies for national energy development in the 2026 - 2030 period. Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee Phan Van Mai presented the Report on the examination of the Draft Resolution of the National Assembly on mechanisms and policies for national energy development in the 2026 - 2030 period.

Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court presented the Proposal for the Law on Specialized Courts at the International Financial Center. The National Assembly then discussed in groups the draft Law on Specialized Courts at the International Financial Center.
