On August 15, 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Quoc Viet commune to organize a class to teach and practice Then singing - Tinh lute , and Chau dance in Quoc Viet commune , Lang Son province .

According to Instruction No. 1684 /HD-BVHTTDL dated April 28, 2023 on the implementation of the Project "Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development" under the National Target Program on socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030. Through the process of research and field survey, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has agreed with the People's Committee of Quoc Viet commune to implement Practical training classes , performances of Then singing - Tinh lute , Chau dance in the locality to concretize the viewpoints, goals, and tasks of the Projects, especially the Project "Preserving and promoting the values of folk songs, folk dances, and folk music of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development" in Lang Son province for the period 2022 - 2030 (approved under Decision No. 3404/QD-BVHTTDL dated December 22, 2021 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism ) ; Plan No. 267/KH - UBND dated December 18, 2024 of the People's Committee of Lang Son province for implementation National action program to protect and promote the value of intangible cultural heritage " Then practice of Tay, Nung, Thai people in Vietnam " in Lang Son province from now until 2030 and the following years...

Through specific programs and actions to research, preserve, reserve, and pass on to future generations unique values imbued with humanity in order to gradually expand, spread, and develop Then cultural space in life, community cultural activities, popularize Then in schools ; raise awareness and pride, self-consciousness of the community, individuals, especially the young generation about the meaning and responsibility in preserving and promoting Then values in Lang Son province in the present and future , towards forming clubs or models of folk cultural activities in the locality , creating conditions for cultural and artistic nuclei and the masses to exchange, create, and enjoy culture associated with preserving the good cultural values of the nation in the province . At the same time, gradually meet the targets of Resolution 58 -NQ/TU dated November 29, 2021 of the Provincial Executive Committee on ethnic affairs and implementation of the Overall Project on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Lang Son province for the period 2021 - 2030 and the plan to implement the folk song, folk dance and folk music project of the province has been proposed (by 2025, 50% of villages and hamlets in the area will have cultural and artistic clubs) .

Thereby, continuing to arouse the spirit of preserving, enriching and promoting the values of national cultural heritage among the majority of people, contributing to building grassroots cultural life, developing socio-economy, especially developing tourism economy, strongly attracting tourists to the locality./.
