On the afternoon of September 29, at the Provincial Conference Center, the 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, opened its preparatory session. Attending the Congress were 449 official delegates, representing more than 156,000 party members from 103 grassroots party organizations in the province. This is an important initial step, carefully preparing the organization, program and personnel for the Congress to officially take place successfully.

Before the start of the session, the delegation of the Congress led by Comrade Nguyen Van Gau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, offered incense at the Monument to the Provincial Heroes and Martyrs on Hung Vuong Street, Bac Giang Ward. The activity expressed gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions of generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and at the same time affirmed the determination to inherit the heroic revolutionary tradition in the new development stage of the province.

The preparatory session elected the Presidium of 15 members, the Secretariat of 3 members and the Qualification Examination Committee of 7 members. 100% of the delegates attending the Congress voted to approve the list of candidates, demonstrating consensus and a high sense of responsibility. The Presidium included the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and representatives of departments, branches and organizations of the province.

The congress also approved the working program, rules, regulations and discussion orientation. Accordingly, the delegates will be divided into 8 groups to discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress and the draft documents to be submitted to the 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Party Congress. This is the basis for completing important decisions, both in line with the country's common vision and reflecting the province's development characteristics.

On the morning of September 30, the Congress will enter its official session. With the theme: "Building a streamlined and strong Party and political system; promoting the potential, advantages, and cultural identity of Kinh Bac; solidarity, self-reliance, self-reliance, building Bac Ninh to develop rapidly, comprehensively, and sustainably, becoming a centrally-run city before 2030" , the 1st Congress of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee has special historical significance.
