This is the sharing of Chairman and General Director of the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group ( Viettel ) Tao Duc Thang at the Digital Infrastructure - Digital Data Workshop. For the first time, a separate event on digital transformation with the theme "Unleashing Digital Potential" was organized by Viettel Enterprise Solutions Corporation (VTS) on the afternoon of November 16.

Sharing at the workshop, Mr. Tao Duc Thang said that nearly 20 years ago, when Viettel entered the telecommunications market, it set a goal of universalizing mobile services to every citizen and then universalizing the internet to every household, along with the promise to always innovate for the people to make the lives of Vietnamese people better and better. Reality has proven that in less than 8 years, Viettel has fulfilled its universalization dream.
Along with the booming trend of the 4.0 industrial revolution, along with the national digital transformation strategy, up to now, digital products and services in Viettel's ecosystem have been serving nearly 500,000 businesses in Vietnam, including many prestigious corporations, groups, organizations and businesses.
Mr. Tao Duc Thang expressed: "The most troubling and difficult issues today are how to build and lay the foundation for digital transformation; how to break down silos to integrate and connect data; issues of improving data quality for operations and management; how to exploit new values from data?...
Through sharing and exchanging at the workshop, businesses have more experience to apply and support each other on this difficult, challenging but also extremely attractive digital transformation journey."

Within the framework of the workshop, there were 3 thematic discussion sessions on digital infrastructure; artificial intelligence and big data; application of smart hospital model implementation.
Speakers also discussed future data trends and the impact of digital data on business development strategies. Sharing and contributions from industry experts and businesses promise to create breakthroughs to promote progress in the data field.
Through this event, Mr. Tao Duc Thang affirmed that Viettel is committed and wishes to continue to accompany all organizations and businesses for a long time to seek and unleash digital potentials, bringing real value not only to organizations and businesses, but also to bring meaningful values to the community and society.
