Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Thi, Permanent Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the inauguration of Lamori Resort & Spa will create a new attractive tourism product for the area, overcoming previous weaknesses, opening up new opportunities and chances for tourism in Tho Xuan district in particular and Thanh Hoa province in general to take off and soon achieve the goal of becoming a national tourism center.

Mr. Thi added that in recent years, Thanh Hoa province has been focusing on synchronously and effectively implementing solutions to mobilize and encourage social resources for investment, upgrading, and creating breakthroughs in developing infrastructure systems, developing products, and improving the quality of tourism services. Thanks to that, the tourism economy has increasingly accounted for a high proportion of the service industry, gradually becoming a key economic sector and contributing more and more to the economic growth and budget revenue of the province.

In 2024, Thanh Hoa province will welcome over 15.3 million visitors, ranking 4th in the country, exceeding the plan by 10.9% and increasing by 22.5% over the same period, of which international visitors are estimated at 719,000, up 16.7%. Lamori Resort & Spa coming into operation will contribute significantly to the improvement of urban space and tourism infrastructure, gradually affirming the brand "Thanh Hoa Tourism - Four Seasons of Fragrance".
