Inauguration of Samsung Vietnam's rooftop solar power project in Bac Ninh producing 2.59 million kWh/year

The rooftop solar power project is being implemented in cooperation with CME Solar Investment Joint Stock Company at SEV factory, with a capacity of 2.38 MWp, expected to produce clean electricity equivalent to 2.59 million kWh per year.

The purpose of the project is to accompany the Government in achieving the goal of achieving zero net emissions and Samsung Vietnam's Net Zero target. At the same time, it demonstrates the pioneering role of the enterprise in converting to renewable energy, contributing to the sustainable development goals of Vietnam and the world .

With a high focus on implementation, after 3 months of construction, the project has been put into operation. Mr. Kim Iee Soo, General Director of SEV emphasized that the project is not only economically significant but also demonstrates Samsung's strong commitment to environmental and social responsibility in Vietnam, creating a green future for future generations. The project is an important milestone on the journey to realize Samsung's sustainable development strategy.
