Providing legal aid knowledge to people in ethnic minority areas

BAC NINH - On October 17, in Kep and Bao Dai communes, the Department of Dissemination, Legal Education and Legal Aid (Ministry of Justice) coordinated with Bac Ninh State Legal Aid Center No. 1 to organize a training course to raise awareness of legal aid for ethnic minority areas.

The conference attracted nearly 600 delegates including village chiefs, prestigious people in the community, and representatives of organizations and individuals participating in implementing ethnic and mountainous policies in the area.

At the training session, delegates listened to the reporter from the Department of Dissemination, Legal Education and Legal Aid introduce key contents such as: legal regulations on the rights and obligations of people receiving legal aid; the role of officials and prestigious people in propaganda work, guiding people to access free legal aid services; skills to handle real-life situations in legal aid activities at the grassroots level.

Dissemination, legal education and legal aid are important tasks to ensure access to justice and improve legal understanding for people, especially those in remote, isolated and ethnic minority areas.

This activity contributes to raising awareness and responsibility of people, organizations and individuals in complying with the law, while enhancing the effectiveness of legal support at the grassroots level, effectively implementing the Party and State's policies and guidelines on ethnic affairs, ensuring social justice and progress.
