Many quality literary and artistic works about the land and people of Bac Ninh

BAC NINH - On December 3, the Bac Ninh Provincial Literature and Arts Association organized the summary of the 2025 Unconcentrated Writing Camp with the theme "Imprints of the land and people of Bac Ninh".

Attending were members of the Appraisal Council from 5 majors: Poetry, Prose, Music, Theater, Folk Arts and many members of professional associations.

Implementing the 2025 work plan and celebrating important political events of the province, the non-concentrated creative camp was deployed from November with the goal of encouraging members to create works closely following social life, spreading cultural values, history, and people of Bac Ninh. The works sent to the Association are all new, unpublished works, created by members at the grassroots level based on traditional cultural materials and the breath of contemporary life.

This year, the Camp attracted 152 authors with 266 works in 5 majors. Of which, poetry continued to attract the largest number of creative forces with 48 authors - 149 works. In the prose section, there were 39 authors - 46 works, diverse from short stories, memoirs, essays to critical research, deeply reflecting the story of life, people and history of Kinh Bac region.

The Music major has 40 authors - 43 works, many songs, orchestras and children's compositions inspired by the Quan Ho region, relics, famous landscapes and the breath of the times. Although the number of authors is not large, the stage shows serious investment with 5 authors - 6 scripts, rich topics from history, life to contemporary social perspectives. The Folk Arts major records 20 authors - 22 works, focusing on researching, collecting, and exploiting the heritage of craft villages, festivals, beliefs, customs, and folk knowledge typical of Bac Ninh land.

At the conference, the Arts Council evaluated the quality of the works in an objective, professional and constructive manner, recognizing the efforts of the artists in maintaining a steady flow of creation, closely following the theme. Many works were carefully invested, with rich themes, diverse and in-depth expressions, suitable for use in propaganda and dissemination in cultural and artistic activities of the province.

Speaking here, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Khuong, Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association affirmed: The 2025 non-concentrated creative camp has created an environment for members to promote their talents, promote creative inspiration, and continue to foster the cultural identity of Bac Ninh in the fields of art. The Association hopes that in the coming time, specialized branches will continue to innovate their methods of operation, increase exchanges, practice creative writing, and expand topics related to political tasks and people's lives.

In the coming time, the authors will continue to edit and complete the works. According to the plan, the Association will select typical works to introduce, publish in specialized journals and magazines and serve to promote major events of the province.
