Bac Ninh: Approved the investment project to build and expand the Y Na underpass

BAC NINH - Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong has just signed Decision No. 1574/QD-UBND approving the investment project to build and expand the Y Na underpass (section across the Hanoi - Lang Son railway).

The Y Na underpass expansion investment project (section crossing Hanoi - Lang Son railway) is located in Kinh Bac ward, Bac Ninh province. The route is according to the urban subdivision planning project No. 15 (Thi Cau - Vu Ninh - Suoi Hoa - Kinh Bac - Tien An - Ve An - Ninh Xa - Dai Phuc - Vo Cuong), Bac Ninh city, approved by the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province in Decision No. 369/QD-UBND dated July 23, 2024.

The project investor is Kinh Bac Construction Project Management Board. This is a group B project; urban traffic works, level II; the designed life of the main project is 50 - 100 years.

The project aims to gradually materialize the urban planning goals of Bac Ninh province in the period of 2030 with a vision to 2050; contribute to upgrading and completing the traffic network, creating a modern and synchronous urban appearance. At the same time, solve the problem of local flooding, meet traffic needs, and create a driving force to promote local socio -economic development.

Investment project to renovate and expand the section from Nguyen Dang Dao Street to Au Co Street (the starting point of the route is near the intersection between Nguyen Dang Dao Street and Nguyen Gia Thieu Street, the ending point is near the intersection between Au Co Street and Ho Ngoc Lan Street) with a length of about 517.3m (main route) including: Tunnel and retaining wall length 330m; approach roads at both ends of the tunnel are about 187.3m long.

In addition, build parallel roads along both sides of the traffic tunnel and retaining walls connecting Ngo Gia Tu and Nguyen Cong Hang streets; replace the old railway bridge with a new railway bridge, using steel arch structures; build a new tunnel under the railway bridge and under Ngo Gia Tu street with clearance H = 4.75m with a total tunnel length of about 309m; upgrade and expand Nguyen Cong Hang street at the connection point with Au Co street according to the planned cross-section; invest in synchronous construction of items according to regulations to meet urban road needs.

The total construction investment and the value of cost items in the total construction investment of the project is about 356 billion VND from the provincial budget, arranged according to the project implementation progress. The project implementation period is from 2025 to 2028.
