33/40 households affected by flooding near Viet Yen golf course have received financial support.

BAC NINH - According to information from the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Van Ha Ward (Bac Ninh), after a period of statistical review and assessment of the extent of damage, up to now, 33/40 households living in the residential groups: Son Hai, Ai Quang, Son Quang, Tan Son, Nui, Dong (near Viet Yen golf course) affected by natural disasters have been supported by Truong An Golf Investment Joint Stock Company with funding to overcome the damage.

The total amount of money that Truong An Golf Investment Joint Stock Company has supported the affected families so far is 231.5 million VND.

Van Ha ward officials checked and counted the damage at Son Hai residential group.

Specifically: Son Hai residential group has 16 households receiving support with a total amount of 145.7 million VND; Ai Quang residential group has 4 households receiving 31.6 million VND; Son Quang residential group has 1 household receiving 2 million VND; Dong residential group has 1 household receiving 35.5 million VND; Nui residential group has 9 households, receiving a total of 9.5 million VND; Tan Son residential group has 2 households receiving 7.2 million VND.

Of these, the family of Mr. Dinh Van Nghiep, Son Hai residential group, suffered the most damage and received 69.7 million VND in support; Mr. Do Van Cong, Dong residential group received 35.5 million VND; Mr. Le Dinh Ba, Son Hai residential group received 19.6 million VND; the family of Mr. Nguyen Van The, Ai Quang residential group received 13.1 million VND. The remaining households received support money ranging from 500 thousand VND to 12 million VND/household.

Previously, many households living near the Viet Yen golf course reported that their daily lives were greatly affected, especially after storms No. 10 and 11 caused extensive damage to houses and crops. There were cases of collapsed and cracked walls, gardens, houses, and many damaged properties.

Faced with this situation, the People's Committee of Van Ha Ward worked with Truong An Golf Investment Joint Stock Company (the golf course management unit); reviewed and counted the damage to affected families, and at the same time specifically assessed the cause to have a timely treatment and remedial plan.

Thus, in addition to the households that have received funding, as of December 3, there are still 7 households that have not agreed with the support plan (the total amount of unpaid money is 22.2 million VND). Of which, 6 households are in Dinh Son residential group and one household is in Tan Son residential group. The reason is that these households believe that the support amount is not satisfactory compared to the damage and continue to request the enterprise to provide more support.
