Inauguration of buildings T1 and T2 of Que Vo Hillview Social Housing Project

This is a project with 100% investment capital from Singapore. The ceremony was held in person and online connecting with 80 points nationwide. Que Vo Hillview social housing area is one of 14 projects selected to start construction and inaugurate on this occasion.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were comrades: Tran Thi Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Thi Van, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Susilo Gani TandJung, General Director of Song Hong Real Estate Management Company Limited; representatives of leaders of a number of departments and branches.

The project was built and put into operation from the end of 2012, early 2013 with the predecessor being the Que Vo Industrial Park Workers Housing Complex. This is the pioneer project of the province in the field of providing housing for industrial park workers.

By 2016, Song Hong Real Estate Management Company Limited invested in building social housing with a scale of 6 buildings, completed 4 buildings, of which building T3 was completed and put into operation from the fourth quarter of 2018.

After completing the last two buildings, T1 and T2, the scale of the project includes: Total land area of the project is 1.6 hectares; total construction area is 57,000 m2, 638 social housing units. Buildings T1 and T2 alone have an area of 25,598 m2 including 258 social housing units. The total investment capital of the entire project is 403 billion VND, buildings T1 and T2 alone are about 212 billion VND. The project meets the housing needs of more than 3,000 people. Buildings T1 and T2 were carefully selected by the investor with a highly capable contractor, Licogi 13 FC Joint Stock Company, to implement the project. After one year, the project has been completed on schedule as committed.

T1 and T2 buildings with improved architectural design, provide more apartment layout options for residents (each apartment has from 2 to 3 bedrooms, usable area from 41 to 70 m2) with many amenities such as kindergarten, common room, children's playground, gym and walking street, landscape between the two buildings.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Ngo Tan Phuong acknowledged and praised the investor and contractor of the Que Vo Hillview Social Housing Project, along with departments, branches and local authorities for closely coordinating, overcoming difficulties, and organizing construction to ensure progress and quality of the project.

He affirmed that developing social housing is a major policy of the Party and the State, demonstrating the orientation of taking people as the center, harmoniously developing the economy and society. This is not only a task of developing urban infrastructure, but also a fundamental solution to improve the material and spiritual life of the people, especially low-income workers and policy beneficiaries.

He emphasized that Bac Ninh province, as the industrial and high-tech center of the Hanoi capital region, currently has over 700,000 workers and laborers working in industrial parks and clusters, so the need for housing, especially social housing, is becoming increasingly urgent.

Implementing the Government's Project on developing at least 1 million social housing apartments in the period of 2022-2030, Bac Ninh province has been assigned the target of developing about 147,100 apartments. To date, the whole province has started 72 projects with a total scale of 257 hectares, of which Que Vo Hillview Social Housing Area is one of the key projects, contributing to the implementation of national goals and meeting the social security requirements of the province.

The inauguration of the T1 and T2 buildings not only creates better living conditions for people but also contributes to urban beautification and promotes sustainable development. This also affirms the effectiveness of the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, the close coordination of departments, branches, local authorities, especially the efforts of the investor and the consensus of the people.

With high determination, Bac Ninh province continues to effectively implement social housing projects, contributing to realizing the goal of "Ensuring social security, harmonious development, for people and by people".

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that in the coming time, the investor continue to manage and operate the project effectively; departments, branches and localities pay attention to removing difficulties, creating conditions for workers to soon access and enjoy social housing policies.
