HNP - On the morning of September 23, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Oai commune held the first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 198 official delegates. Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, Chairman of the Hanoi Women's Union Le Kim Anh attended the Congress.

Opening the Congress, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Oai Commune Nguyen Thi Hao said that during the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Oai Commune always performed its political tasks well, affirming itself as a bridge between the Party's will and the people's hearts.

Since the beginning of the term, the Commune Fatherland Front has studied and reviewed 15 supervision meetings, established 2 independent supervision teams, and participated in coordinating supervision of 5 teams; organized 4 social criticism conferences; coordinated the organization of voter contact conferences to ensure compliance with the law, quality, and effectiveness; organized 142 conferences with more than 400 comments on congress documents at all levels; organized 6 dialogue conferences between the head of the Party Committee with the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and people in the area. Mediation work at the grassroots level has been promoted, successfully resolving 85/95 cases, reaching a rate of nearly 90%.

With the motto of relying on the strength of people's solidarity, in recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Oai commune and its member organizations have innovated and improved the quality of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns... Up to now, 100% of the predecessor communes and towns have met the advanced new rural standards and urban civilization standards; 95% of households have achieved the title of "Cultural Family"; the cremation rate reached 88.8%; the whole commune no longer has poor households...

In particular, from July 1, 2025, when the 2-level local government model comes into operation, the commune Fatherland Front will increasingly demonstrate its role as a "bridge" to bring the Party's resolutions and the State's legal policies to the people; listen to and gather people's opinions and aspirations to reflect to the Party Committee and the government. Thanks to the companionship, the strength of the great national unity bloc in the area is increasingly fostered and spread strongly, creating a combined strength, helping the Thanh Oai commune Fatherland Front truly become a common home, a place to gather and spread the spirit of solidarity.

To further improve the quality and effectiveness of the Front's operations in the coming term, comrade Le Kim Anh suggested that the Commune Fatherland Front Committee continue to consolidate and promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, closely connect all classes of people; improve the quality of propaganda and mobilization work, grasp public opinion, promptly reflect the opinions and recommendations of the people; innovate the content and methods of operation of the Commune Fatherland Front and its member organizations in accordance with the requirements of the digital transformation and integration period...

The Congress elected 62 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and comrade Nguyen Thi Hao was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Oai commune for the 2025-2030 term.
