When businesses become a support for workers

In the development journey, many enterprises affirm their growth not only by growth figures but also by their responsibility towards their employees. Over the years, Jia Hsin Company Limited (Rach Kien Commune, Tay Ninh Province) and the Grassroots Trade Union (UC) have always paid special attention to employees in difficult circumstances, especially those with serious illnesses and disabled employees.

When there is a case of an employee unfortunately suffering from a serious illness, the Executive Board of the Trade Union proactively proposes support from the higher-level Trade Union, and at the same time coordinates with the company to find out the specific situation to launch a donation campaign among all staff, employees and the Board of Directors.

Thanks to that, socialized resources are quickly connected, creating a practical "support" to help workers overcome difficult times both physically and mentally.

Jia Hsin Co., Ltd. creates a favorable working environment for disabled workers.

Chairman of Jia Hsin Company Limited’s Trade Union Nguyen Quan Thuy Quynh said: “In 2024, the Trade Union and the company donated and supported 2 employees with serious illnesses with an amount of over 224 million VND/person. Fortunately, 1 of the 2 cases above, after treatment, recovered and returned to work at the factory. That is proof of the effectiveness of sharing hands”.

In parallel, Jia Hsin Co., Ltd. also creates working conditions for disabled employees with positions suitable to their health and professional abilities. The Union's regular support programs always give priority to this group of employees.

Right from the design stage, the factory infrastructure was built in a friendly and barrier-free direction. These include private toilets with handrails, sinks and low mirrors; ramps in the dining area to create separate paths, easy to move; and a private parking area near the production area, convenient for daily activities.

These seemingly small details demonstrate the deep concern of the company and the Union for employees, helping to spread the spirit of humanity and sharing in the working environment, while clearly demonstrating the viewpoint of respecting differences and creating equal opportunities so that every employee with disabilities can develop their abilities.

Workers and laborers who have occupational accidents receive attention and support from the Trade Union of Pou Hung Vietnam Co., Ltd.

At Pou Hung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Ninh Thanh Ward), taking care of employees is also a top priority, especially for those in particularly difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses or having work-related accidents. For employees suffering from serious illnesses, the Trade Union organizes visits and provides support at a rate of 2 million VND/case. For those in particularly difficult circumstances or having work-related accidents, the Trade Union mobilizes all employees to join hands to support, demonstrating the spirit of "Helping each other" right within the enterprise.

In 2025, Mr. Nguyen Minh Canh (company employee) unfortunately had a work accident. In addition to the benefits according to regulations, the Trade Union mobilized employees to support him with more than 263 million VND.

“Currently, Mr. Canh is recuperating. The company will arrange a suitable job for him when he returns to work to ensure his income and soon stabilize his psychology and life,” said Nguyen Huu Can, Chairman of the Trade Union of Pou Hung Vietnam Co., Ltd.

These deeply humane actions not only help employees overcome difficulties but also spread sharing and solidarity in the community.
