About 5,500 women participate in the parade "Ao Dai - Radiant lotus color"

DTO - The Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union has just developed a plan to organize the parade "Ao Dai - Radiant Lotus" to celebrate the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh , the 55th anniversary of implementing his Testament and the 2nd Dong Thap Lotus Festival in 2024.

On May 19, 2024, about 5,500 women wearing ao dai with lotus patterns or lotus colors are expected to participate in the parade (illustrative photo)

Accordingly, it is expected that about 5,500 women, including officials, civil servants, employees, workers, students, and local residents, will wear ao dai with lotus patterns or lotus color to participate in the parade on the streets of Cao Lanh City. The parade will take place from 7-8 a.m. on May 19, 2024.

The plan aims to praise and honor the Vietnamese Ao Dai, the beauty of Vietnamese women in general, and Dong Thap women in particular, in the traditional Ao Dai bearing the identity of the homeland of the Land of Pink Lotus. At the same time, through the parade, it also sends to cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, officials, members, women and people as well as tourists a message about preserving, conserving and promoting the traditional value of the Vietnamese national Ao Dai.
