Lung Dan Danh is a historical site associated with the resistance war against French colonialism by the army and people of Muong La district. In the valley, there is Dan Danh cave (commonly known as red rock cave) deep into the mountainside with 5 large and small caves, including 1 main cave, 2 floors, about 20m wide, about 30m high with many nooks and crannies, with a wide observation range, which became the "command post" and "safe zone" of the Muong La district Party Cell in the early days of the resistance war against French colonialism.
The project to preserve, renovate and restore the Lung Dan Danh historical relic site in Muong Chum commune, Muong La district has started construction on a scale of 3.1 hectares, including the following items: Monument house, internal road, earth retaining wall, and leveling. The total investment is 6.2 billion VND, from additional capital to balance the local budget for the period 2021-2025, support from Son La city and socialized sources.
The project was built to implement the nation's morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking", exploiting and promoting the values of historical relics and associated with tourism development of Muong La district, creating a destination in the journey to revolutionary historical relics, visiting old battlefields, building the relic site into a red address ineducating revolutionary traditions for the younger generation./.
