The above dispatch of the Ministry of Health was also sent to units under and affiliated to the Ministry of Health in the Northern and Central regions.

The Minister of Health requested that units under and directly under the Ministry of Health be ready to provide professional support, increase staff, receive seriously ill patients transferred from lower levels; prepare mobile forces to prevent and control epidemics, support epidemiological surveillance, environmental treatment and vaccination when required.
