Implementing the direction of the Air Defense - Air Force on being ready to carry out rescue flights, rescue, and transport relief goods in the Central region, on the morning of November 20, Air Force Regiment 930, Division 372 prepared 2 helicopters and rescue vehicles ready to take off to provide supplies to people in isolated areas in Gia Lai and Dak Lak provinces.
These are the localities that are being heavily affected by the prolonged heavy rain. In many places, the water level is rising rapidly and people are lacking flotation devices and life-saving supplies.

Immediately after receiving the mission, Air Force Regiment 930 organized a tight assignment of tasks to pilots, flight crew members and security and rescue forces at Da Nang airport. The flight crews did a good job of preparing; transporting goods, food, necessities and vehicles onto the plane.
Currently, the aircraft of Air Force Regiment 930 are ready to take off to carry out missions when ordered.
The 372nd Air Division also maintained a state of combat readiness, fully prepared forces and aircraft to promptly deploy transport flights to deeply flooded areas that were difficult to access by road.

According to records, many areas of Gia Lai and Dak Lak provinces are still experiencing heavy rain, many residential areas are isolated, and traffic is cut off.
The timely deployment of rescue helicopters by the Air Defense - Air Force has significantly contributed to helping local authorities access and transport relief goods, evacuate people, minimize damage and ensure safety in the context of complicated natural disasters.
