Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park Increases Use of Renewable Energy

After attending the groundbreaking ceremony of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway and Phuoc An Bridge projects, on the morning of June 18, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and leaders of many central ministries and Ba Ria - Vung Tau province visited the Phu My 3 specialized industrial park (IP) (Phu My town).

Ms. Nguyen Thao Nhi introduced to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha about Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park.

Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park is only about 2km from Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port cluster, with high-quality infrastructure and professional one-stop service, meeting the conditions of an ecological industrial park according to regulations.

Ms. Nguyen Thao Nhi, Chairwoman and General Director of Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company, the investor of Phu My 3 specialized industrial park infrastructure, said that this industrial park is an attractive place to develop the upstream industry of basic raw materials for the key economic region in the South as well as the downstream of post-petrochemical industries... The expected investment capital after filling the industrial park is about 8 - 9 million USD/ha of leased land to implement investment projects.

At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha suggested that Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park needs to have a green development roadmap, increase the use of renewable energy to approach and attract investment from large corporations in the world . Increase competitiveness with countries in the region and the world , contribute to sustainable development with a focus on environmental protection, towards reducing CO2 emissions to zero according to global development trends.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao Nhi also reported to the Deputy Prime Minister and leaders of central ministries and branches about the Gates Tower workers' dormitory project, meeting the housing needs of 10,000 workers with the goal of creating a healthy and stable living environment for workers working here and attracting labor to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha noted that Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park needs to carefully consider environmental conditions to ensure the health of workers living and working here.
