As of August 6, Dung Quat Economic Zone has 352 valid investment projects, with a total registered investment capital of more than 400,000 trillion VND, equivalent to 18.6 USD.

Dung Quat Economic Zone has 67 foreign investment projects with registered capital of about 2.45 billion USD and 285 domestic investment projects with registered capital of nearly 346,000 billion VND. There are 262 projects in operation. According to the plan, Dung Quat Economic Zone has an area of over 45.3 thousand hectares, divided into many development areas, very suitable for attracting investment in many fields and industries. Dung Quat Economic Zone converges all means of transport including waterway, road, rail, air, especially Dung Quat deep-water port and Chu Lai airport; has outstanding advantages in logistics. After 2 years of being approved by the Prime Minister to adjust the overall planning for the construction of Dung Quat Economic Zone until 2045, up to now, the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks have completed 9/9 zoning plans under the direction of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province. Currently, the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks are ready to proactively welcome the new wave of investment.
