Three years after its launch in Vietnam, the KIA Sonet has received an upgraded version with an improved exterior. This A-SUV model is currently the best-selling car in its segment in the domestic market.

According to a survey of dealerships in the Hanoi area, some dealerships are currently offering discounts of 5-10 million VND and complimentary accessories for customers purchasing vehicles in August 2024. This is a move aimed at attracting customers and boosting sales amidst a sluggish market due to the influence of the "ghost month" (a period traditionally associated with bad luck in Vietnamese culture).

This model has dimensions of 4,120 x 1,790 x 1,642 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 2,500 mm. These dimensions are equivalent to the 7-seater version currently sold in the Indian market, meaning the interior space of the Sonet will be more spacious and comfortable.

With its compact yet imposing appearance, the KIA Sonet boasts a dynamic and youthful design, ideal for agile urban driving. The front end is highlighted by the brand's signature tiger-nose grille, stylized with a unique wave pattern, creating a commanding and eye-catching look.

The KIA Sonet's front lighting system features LED headlights with three separate bulbs that integrate seamlessly with the LED fog lights. This design not only enhances lighting efficiency but also makes the car stand out.

The KIA Sonet's body boasts a muscular look with prominent lines and sporty 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels, creating a powerful style.

The interior of the 2024 KIA Sonet is more spacious thanks to its 2,500 mm wheelbase. It features a three-spoke leather-wrapped D-Cut steering wheel with red stitching accents and familiar glossy black plastic buttons found on higher-end models like the Sorento or Seltos.

The 4.2-inch color instrument display is paired with a 10.25-inch (8-inch on Deluxe and Luxury versions) central infotainment screen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. The air conditioning system is enclosed by two distinctive air vents, providing a modern and comfortable feel.

The 2024 KIA Sonet is equipped with a 1.5L Smartstream gasoline engine, producing 113 horsepower and 144 Nm of maximum torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission. The Luxury and Premium versions also feature a selectable driving mode, allowing users to customize the driving experience to their needs.
