At first, Thu Thuy dressed up her Baby Three and posted it on social media. After that, many people got to know her and contacted her to dress up their “baby three”. Since then, Thuy has been involved in the job of dressing up and fixing dolls with crossed eyes, chipped paint, or scratched faces…

Makeup work requires meticulousness, skill, patience and a high aesthetic sense. With a beautifully made doll, Thuy takes from 1 to 3 hours to complete.

As someone who has a passion for cartoon stories and characters, the job of dressing up Baby Three brings Thuy a lot of joy. Not only that, this service also brings in a high income.

“This job brings me joy, creativity and helps me increase my income. Every day, besides doing nails, my income can increase by nearly 1 million thanks to the makeup service for Baby Three,” she shared.

For each time she dresses up Baby Three, depending on the style or the level of correction, the price ranges from 20,000 - 250,000 VND/doll. On average, Thuy can beautify and correct 4 - 5 dolls a day. In addition, Thu Thuy also earns extra income from selling accessories such as clothes, handbags, bows... for the "baby threes".

Currently, the blind unboxing trend has not cooled down yet, the number of orders sent to Thu Thuy's makeup service is constantly increasing, there are many Baby Threes waiting their turn to be "transformed".

The “beauty” process for Baby Three goes through many stages such as cleaning, drawing, spraying paint… Thu Thuy uses nail tools to beautify Baby Three. In addition, she also invested in some other external tools to increase the aesthetics of the doll.

To create a new look for Baby Three that satisfies customers, the stage of coming up with ideas and designing the face is an important step, requiring understanding between the artist and the customer.

According to Thu Thuy, each Baby Three has their own style when it comes to makeup. Each face is designed and conceptualized based on the customer’s preferences, favorite cartoon characters, or the story they want to convey.

“With each doll that is made up, I want it to be more than just a toy, it also contains a message. I want to convey a story associated with the costumed character that the customer requests or the person they send Baby Three to. Therefore, each product that is made up and beautified can be considered unique,” she said.

Not only does the makeover service give Baby Three a unique and novel look, it also helps to increase the value of this toy. According to Thuy, the value of a beautified Baby Three is doubled compared to the original.
