(HGO) – The provincial National Assembly delegation, including Mr. Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Ms. Le Thi Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Le Minh Nam, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Quan, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, recently met with about 150 voters of Chau Thanh A district before the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly.

On the provincial leadership side, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, attended.
Here, 4 voters gave their opinions on a number of issues such as: National Highway 1A through the province from Cai Tac Church to Viet Hai Seafood Company Limited, every time it rains, water accumulates, overflows onto the road and into people's houses, affecting daily life, causing potential traffic accidents, and drainage culverts need to be installed soon. National Highway 61C Phase 2 needs to start construction soon, in order to contribute to promoting the economic development of the province.

District voters also recommended that National Highway 61, from Rach Goi town to Cai Tac intersection, is often congested and has accidents. It is necessary to soon invest in a bypass road and widen the road surface so that people can travel conveniently.
Here, the representative of the Provincial People's Committee said that National Highway 1A is managed by the Ministry of Transport. Regarding the installation of drainage culverts from Cai Tac Church to Viet Hai Seafood Company Limited, the province has recently worked with the Ministry of Transport, which has directed the relevant agencies to fix the problem. In the future, the province will urge the relevant agencies of the Ministry to install drainage culverts soon.
Voters speak out.
Regarding the construction of a bypass through Cai Tac town and the expansion of National Highway 61 from Rach Goi town to Cai Tac town, the province has coordinated with the Ministry of Transport to consider and invest, but due to limited capital, the direction is to build after 2025. Regarding the investment in the construction of National Highway 61C phase 2, the province has worked with the Ministry of Planning and Investment to prepare a complete dossier to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and approval by the end of 2023.
Speaking at the meeting with voters, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly agreed with the explanation of the provincial leaders on issues of concern to voters.
Here, Mr. Tran Thanh Man requested the province to speed up compensation and resettlement for people when constructions and projects pass through the province; coordinate with central ministries and branches more drastically in proposing and constructing National Highway 61C phase 2; and invest appropriately in Xa No canal.
The 6th session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to open on October 23 and close on November 29. The National Assembly will convene at the National Assembly House and the session will be held in two phases: phase 1 from October 23 to November 10; phase 2 from November 20 to November 29.
