Kienlongbank officially has a new general director

(NLDO) – Mr. Tran Hong Minh was appointed General Director of Kienlongbank, after receiving approval from the State Bank.

At the end of December 1, Kienlongbank announced that the Board of Directors had announced the decision to officially appoint Mr. Tran Hong Minh as General Director. The decision took effect the same day.

Mr. Tran Hong Minh, born in 1985, is a bachelor of investment economics with nearly 20 years of experience in the field of finance and banking, having held many important positions at major joint stock banks in Vietnam before joining KienlongBank in March 2021.

He started participating in the management work at KienlongBank as Deputy General Director in charge of business from November 2022. In July 2024, he was appointed as Acting General Director. In his new position, Mr. Minh is expected to continue to lead KienlongBank to maintain growth momentum and effectively exploit opportunities in the digital age.

Currently, KienlongBank's Board of Directors consists of 5 members, Mr. Tran Hong Minh - General Director, 4 Deputy General Directors and 1 Chief Accountant in charge of business and operations.

Regarding business operations, the latest business results report shows that in the first 9 months of 2025 alone, KienlongBank achieved 1,537 billion VND in pre-tax profit, double the same period and exceeding 112% of the yearly plan, setting the highest mark in 30 years of operation.

In the coming period, KienlongBank said it will focus on building new growth pillars based on data, technology and a partner ecosystem. From there, it will form a digital banking model that can flexibly expand according to customer needs and market trends.
