At the forum, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kieu Phu Commune, Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, said that the locality always builds plans to convert crop and livestock structures in accordance with potential, advantages and market demand, while flexibly responding to climate change. The commune prioritizes the development of safe green vegetable models, aquaculture, and concentrated livestock farming in the direction of biosafety. Gradually forming a sustainable agricultural value chain, improving income and quality of life for people with outstanding products such as: biological pigs, Ngoc Thom rice, Nghia Huong safe vegetable area, eggs...

However, the consumption of agricultural products still faces difficulties due to small-scale production, lack of market information, and loose links between producers and consumers, leading to a situation of "good harvest, low price", affecting farmers' income.

Promoting local advantages, Kieu Phu commune aims to develop agriculture according to the value chain, build concentrated specialized areas and organize production - processing - product consumption connections. The goal is to create momentum for sustainable agricultural development, build brands, and gradually expand the market for Kieu Phu agricultural products.

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kieu Phu commune, Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, emphasized that the forum is an opportunity for businesses, farmers, and cooperatives to connect, share, and cooperate, to promote production along the value chain, ensure stable output, and improve the quality and reputation of Kieu Phu agricultural products.

At the forum, the cooperative representative said that although many agricultural products in the area are of guaranteed quality, the output is still unstable. To promote the consumption of safe agricultural products, it is necessary to strengthen the connection of "4 houses": farmers - enterprises - scientists - the state. People play the role of production center, enterprises are the bridge to the market, science provides the technical foundation, the state plays the role of creation and support.

At the same time, it is necessary to promote and build local agricultural product brands through fairs, trade promotion conferences, digital platforms and e-commerce platforms; make good use of the OCOP Program to enhance the value and competitiveness of products; support cooperatives and people in accessing market information, preferential loans, land policies, science and technology and trade promotion.
