On the morning of November 19, Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Thanh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Trung Khanh Vinh commune said that during the night, flood water poured in strongly from the upper reaches of Cho river, Giang river, Cai river; by the morning of the same day, the water level of the rivers began to recede.

However, due to heavy rain, the water rose rapidly, causing localized flooding, isolating many residential areas. In particular, in Ba Thac hamlet (Bac Song Giang village), 30 Raglai households were isolated due to deep flooding. The local authorities and functional forces took the households to solid headquarters and provided them with necessities during the days of shelter. Currently, the commune continues to strengthen warning work, dispatching forces on duty in all villages, ready to promptly respond to natural disaster situations.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Bac Khanh Vinh Commune People's Committee said: Last night, floodwaters from upstream caused bridges on Provincial Road 8 such as Khanh Binh Bridge, Ca Hon Bridge... to be submerged about 1 meter deep. On the morning of November 19, the floodwaters gradually receded. The recent floods have caused great damage to crops of people in the commune.
