Bac Cam Ranh Ward: Many areas are deeply flooded

On the morning of November 19, the leader of the People's Committee of Bac Cam Ranh ward said that due to prolonged heavy rain, many areas in the ward were flooded.

The regular militia force of Bac Cam Ranh ward has proactively established 3 working groups, closely coordinating with the police force, residential groups and specialized departments to conduct actual inspections of flooded areas; record the flooding situation on roads, residential areas, and areas at risk of being isolated and cut off due to rising water. Through initial inspections, the working groups have measured and determined that the average water level is from 20cm to 25cm deep, with the highest point being nearly 50cm.

Low-lying areas in residential groups: Hoa Thuan, Hoa Tien, Nghia Loc, Nghia An, Hoa Binh , Hoa Phuoc, Hoa Do 1,2,6A were heavily flooded. Some roads such as: Nguyen Cong Tru, Luong Van Can, Le Thanh Tong, Nguyen Du, My Ca intersection were deeply flooded, making it difficult for motorbikes and pedestrians to move safely. The forces have conducted a review of each household in the area at risk of being isolated, promptly made a list, counted the number of households needing evacuation support when necessary; at the same time, monitored and promptly reported every hour to the Ward Military Command to synthesize specific data and propose response plans.

For deeply flooded areas, the ward has sent a document requesting the army to support the locality to be ready to evacuate people from dangerous areas.
