Speaking at the signing ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh said that the event not only marked a new development step in the relationship between the two agencies and organizations but also demonstrated the increasingly close connection between Da Nang city and Japanese partners.
The city leaders highly appreciated and acknowledged the efforts and contributions of Pasona Group to the investment promotion work of Da Nang city in recent times.
The Group has actively supported the city in attracting investment capital from Japan; training and developing high-quality human resources in key development areas.
The Awaji Danang Center Cooperation Office in Awaji Island, Japan and the Pasona DX Hub Danang Office are the clearest evidence of the effectiveness of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Investment Promotion and Support Board and Pasona Group in the period of 2019-2022.

Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh emphasized that currently, the relationship between Vietnam and Japan is at a very good stage in terms of economy , trade, investment, and people-to-people exchange.
Accordingly, the city expects and believes that, with the prestige and experience of Pasona Group, the Memorandum of Understanding signed today between the Group and the Investment Promotion and Support Board on investment promotion cooperation for the period 2023-2026 will continue to inherit the highlights of the Memorandum of Understanding for the period 2019-2022 and the relationship of "Sincere friends, reliable partners, strategic cooperation, sustainable future" between the two countries, will be effectively implemented and achieve good results in the future.
Da Nang City always considers Japan as a leading and long-term important partner. Currently, Japan is the leading country in terms of investment capital in the city with more than 1 billion USD for 230 projects, accounting for nearly 25% of the investment capital in the city.
In terms of trade, Japan is also a leading partner with export turnover between the two sides estimated at 670 million USD and imports estimated at 360 million USD in 2023.

In the coming time, Da Nang city will step up calling for and attracting investment in industries and production fields with high content of technology, knowledge, and high added value, focusing on the fields of microchips and semiconductors.
The city looks forward to receiving the attention and support of Pasona Group in connecting Japanese microchip and semiconductor enterprises to Da Nang to explore investment and implement related cooperation programs.
The city is committed to always accompanying, supporting and creating an open, transparent, safe and healthy investment and business environment for Pasona Group and its partners to operate effectively and long-term.
According to the Danang Investment Promotion and Support Board, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Danang Investment Promotion and Support Board and Pasona Group (Japan) is valid for 3 years from 2023 to 2025 with the goal of promoting cooperation and attracting investment from Japan to Danang.
Thereby, the parties focus on implementing activities in two main areas: supporting businesses to expand investment and business and supporting human resource development in Da Nang city.
Specifically, exchanging, providing relevant information, promoting Da Nang's investment environment to Japanese businesses and investors; cooperating in implementing activities to support Japanese businesses doing business and investing in Da Nang; organizing business connection events, conferences, seminars, and talks; consulting on specialized legal policies related to investment and business activities of enterprises.
By signing the Memorandum of Understanding, Pasona Group (Japan) committed to continue supporting Da Nang in implementing investment promotion activities, successfully attracting projects in key development areas according to the city's orientation in the coming time.

In Vietnam, Pasona Tech Vietnam was established more than 16 years ago with 3 offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Da Nang. Previously, in April 2019, in Japan, the Da Nang Investment Promotion and Support Board and Pasona Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the 2019-2022 period.

In December 2019, Pasona Tech Vietnam Company (a member company of Pasona Group) received a Certificate of Merit from the City People's Committee for its contributions to the city's socio-economic development.
