On March 27, the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) of the province and the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) of the province signed a program of coordination of activities for the period 2024 - 2027.

Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province and the Executive Committee of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Thanh Hoa province signed a program of coordination of activities for the period 2024 - 2027.

Representatives of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province and the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province signed a cooperation program for the period 2024 - 2027.

The key content of the coordination program includes: Mobilizing Buddhist dignitaries, young monks and nuns and youth to live a good life, practice their religion, exercise their rights and obligations as citizens, actively participate in socio-economic development, ensure political security and social order and safety.

Mobilize resources, organize social security activities for disadvantaged youth, poor people in border areas, mountainous areas, and islands. Organize activities to educate youth about traditions, patriotism and national pride, the spirit of kindness, love of peace, and love of compatriots.

Call for and support resources to build houses of love, cultural houses in villages and hamlets in difficult areas, mountainous areas, border areas, and islands. Organize the awarding of scholarships and gifts to children in difficult circumstances. Propaganda for Buddhists and religious youth to practice civilized urban lifestyles; participate with local authorities in building civilized lifestyles.

Mobilize young Buddhists to participate in the restoration and embellishment of historical and cultural relics as bases for Buddhist activities and dissemination. Implement specific, appropriate and timely activities to provide relief to people in flood and natural disaster areas, overcome consequences, reduce difficulties, and support activities for young people and people to restore their economic lives after the impact of natural disasters and epidemics.

Strengthen solidarity and gather young dignitaries and young Buddhists through activities of caring for, accompanying, and supporting religious practices in accordance with the law and in accordance with traditional national culture; especially Buddhist youth clubs participating in activities of the Vietnam Youth Union at all levels.

Building and promoting the role of young people as dignitaries, monks, and Buddhists as exemplary young people. The Vietnam Youth Federation of districts, towns, and city Youth Unions in areas with a large number of young Buddhists coordinate to honor exemplary and prestigious dignitaries, monks, and young Buddhists (not Youth Union or Association officials) to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of young Buddhists in the locality; promptly make recommendations to Party committees and authorities at all levels to resolve according to the law; act as the core in implementing patriotic emulation movements of the Vietnam Youth Federation among Buddhists.

Coordinate with the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha at all levels to select outstanding dignitaries and young monks and nuns to participate in the Vietnam Youth Union Committee at the same level; Organize social security activities and activities to honor families of war invalids and martyrs.

Most Venerable Thich Tam Dinh, Member of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Thanh Hoa province, said that this is a very meaningful and practical cooperation program. The Most Venerable affirmed that the youth force always plays an important role, a pioneering role in all fields, including young monks and nuns and young Buddhists.
