Signing of cooperation in developing culture, sports and tourism in Binh Thuan

On the afternoon of October 24, in Phan Thiet City, the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the two provinces of Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan jointly organized a program to sign a cooperation agreement on developing culture, sports and tourism (VHTT&DL) of Binh Thuan - Ninh Thuan for the period 2023 - 2025.

In 2023, Binh Thuan will organize many sports tournaments and attract athletes from inside and outside the province to participate.

Attending the event were comrades Nguyen Ngoc Hoa - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Bui The Nhan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan; Nguyen Van Hoa - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan; Deputy Directors of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan provinces; representatives of the Tourism Promotion Center, Tourism Association, specialized departments and businesses in the two provinces.

In the current context, linking and cooperating for mutual development is an inevitable trend. This is both an opportunity and a challenge for localities, businesses, entrepreneurs and people to exploit the potential and advantages of the locality to develop tourism, becoming a key economic sector. Linking and cooperating for multi-dimensional and multi-sector development contributes to making good use of the strengths of geographical location, resources, development potential and connecting value chains to create attractive tourism products in each group and type to provide tourists in a professional and sustainable manner.

Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan are two localities in the national tourism development quadrilateral cluster of Da Lat - Nha Trang - Phan Rang - Phan Thiet. Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan has quite diverse and different natural and cultural resources compared to other provinces and cities in the region and the whole country. Therefore, when linked, it will create a chain of attractive, different and highly competitive tourism products.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Bui The Nhan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan also affirmed: The Phan Thiet - Vinh Hao expressway has been put into operation, contributing to shortening the travel time between the two localities, creating open investment opportunities, coordination, cooperation, support and sharing of mutual strengths; making full use of the internal and external factors of the localities to bring about good results in the cooperation between Binh Thuan - Ninh Thuan in the future.
