On August 17, at the football field of the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) in Dien Hong ward, Ho Chi Minh City, the opening ceremony of the BKA Champions League Cup Decofi 2025 football tournament took place grandly, full of the desire for victory.
The BKA Champions League has become a football festival and an annual activity of the Phu Tho Polytechnic alumni community.

The 2023 BKA Champions League will feature 10 teams and nearly 300 players. The 2024 tournament will feature 17 teams and nearly 500 players. This year is the third year the tournament has been held and has attracted the largest number of participants, with more than 1,000 players and 24 teams divided into two age groups: over 40 and under 40.
"This year, BKA Champions League Cup Decofi 2025 has 24 teams and more than 1,000 players registered to participate in the tournament - a record number. A number that shows a strong passion for sports, especially football. The BKA Champions League is not only a playground for physical training and sportsmanship, but also an opportunity to strengthen solidarity and connection between Phu Tho Polytechnic alumni and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University," Associate Professor, Dr. Huynh Ky Phuong Ha, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University, representative of the Organizing Committee, said at the opening ceremony.

When football is more than just a tournament
Associate Professor, Dr. Huynh Ky Phuong Ha said that BKA Champions League Cup Decofi 2025 attracted a record number of Polytechnic alumni thanks to meeting three factors. Firstly, it is the spirit of "Common Polytechnic Home". Secondly, the tournament is the desire to connect and support each other in work and life of the Phu Tho Polytechnic alumni community. And thirdly, the tournament is a professional and well-organized playground.
"The combination of passion for sports, community spirit and professional organization is the core reason for the strong attraction of the tournament. The tournament is not only a playground, but has become a cultural feature, an event that is expected every year. This is not only a football tournament, but also a place to show the solidarity of the Polytechnic community. In particular, with the tournament, when creating an alumni community as a solid bridge between the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) and generations of alumni, sharing career orientation, helping students and businesses quickly grasp market needs and make improvements in line with the training curriculum and general market trends," said Mr. Ha.
